We're in search of a talented Project Manager with a background in HVAC within the construction industry to join our facility management team. At Volvo Cars, we are pioneering the transition towards a tech-driven future, and you will play a vital role in leading and overseeing projects involving HVAC systems in new construction projects as well as facility maintenance projects.

What you'll do

As a Construction Project Manager specializing in HVAC systems, you will lead projects with precision and attention to detail. You will collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders to navigate project complexities and deliver optimal results. Additionally, you will leverage your expertise and competencies within the HVAC field to mitigate risks and optimize project performance.

As a Construction & HVAC Project Manager, your key responsibilities include:
•    Project Leadership: Provide strategic guidance and leadership for projects involving HVAC systems, from inception to completion.
•    HVAC Expertise: Leverage your background in HVAC work to oversee the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of systems within our projects and facilities.
•    Stakeholder Coordination: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met within budget and timeline constraints.
•    Quality Assurance: Implement and uphold rigorous quality control measures to ensure the safety and reliability of HVAC systems in our projects and facilities.
•    Risk Management: Identify and mitigate potential risks to ensure project continuity and safety compliance.
 

What you'll bring

In this role, you will spearhead projects involving HVAC systems with precision and meticulous attention to detail, ensuring strict compliance with standards, legislations and strategies to comply with future needs. Your collaborative approach will be crucial as you work closely with internal and external stakeholders to navigate the intricacies of each project, ultimately delivering optimal results. Moreover, you will leverage your HVAC competencies to proactively mitigate risks and enhance project performance. Your proficiency will be instrumental in driving successful project outcomes, demonstrating leadership in stakeholder coordination and ensuring alignment with organizational objectives. By harnessing your HVAC competencies, you will elevate project capabilities and outcomes, contributing significantly to our mission of excellence.

Requirements:
•    Background in Project Management and/or extensive experience as a HVAC designer or ventilation installer/plumber.
•    Strong understanding of HVAC systems and installations.
•    Desirable: Competency in facility BMS systems and Volvo Cars projects.
