What you will do:
As a member of the Product Cybersecurity Support Engineer, you will be responsible for the following:
- CSMS Process Support:
Assist in understanding, implementing, and maintaining the Volvo Cars Cybersecurity Management System (CSMS) process across the organization. - CSMS Development:
Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of the Cybersecurity Management System, ensuring robust and effective security measures. - TARA Reviews:
Conduct Threat and Risk Analysis (TARA) reviews and provide expert recommendations to enhance the security posture of our products. - Cybersecurity (CS) Concept Support:
Work closely with R&D teams to clarify cybersecurity concepts, principles, and best practices, ensuring alignment with industry standards. - CS Specification Assistance:
Assist in creating and reviewing cybersecurity specifications, ensuring they meet the highest standards of security. - CS Validation:
Support cybersecurity validation processes to verify the effectiveness of implemented security measures. - CS Assessment and Compliance Checks:
Participate in cybersecurity assessments and compliance checks to ensure our products meet all regulatory and security requirements. - Confirmation Reviews:
Perform confirmation reviews to validate that security measures are both effective and compliant with established standards and policies. - Documentation:
Develop comprehensive documentation for process instructions, guidelines, and customizable templates to support consistent cybersecurity practices. - VCC Information Model Development:
Work on developing and gaining approval for the VCC information model that features cybersecurity objects, collaborating with the Information Model Arena (IMA). - Automation Tools:
Contribute to the creation and implementation of tools that streamline and automate the CSMS processes, enhancing efficiency and accuracy. - Visualization Tools:
Develop tools to provide real-time visualization of the CSMS process execution status, aiding in better decision-making and process management.
What you will bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Experience in cybersecurity management systems and processes.
- Strong knowledge of Threat and Risk Analysis (TARA).
- Familiarity with industry cybersecurity standards and best practices.
- Ability to create and review detailed cybersecurity specifications and documentation.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills to convey complex cybersecurity concepts to diverse teams.
- Experience with cybersecurity tools and automation technologies is a plus.
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
