We're in search of a talented work environment coordinator (BAS-P/U) within the construction industry to join our Workplace team. At Volvo Cars, we are pioneering the transition towards a tech-driven future, and you will play a vital role in securing our safety in the construction sites.

What you'll do

As a BAS-P/U, you will be responsible to coordinate the work environment in our civil and engineering work, both in the planning phase as well as the construction phase. You will collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders to navigate project complexities and deliver optimal results. Additionally, you will coordinate the safety in construction sites with equipment installation related to the car manufacturing and research & development projects at Volvo Cars.


As a Building Work Environment Coordinator, your key responsibilities include:
•    BAS-P: Responsible for developing a work environment plan and identifying foreseeable risks in the designing and planning phase of our construction projects. 
•    BAS-U: Responsible for ensuring that the health and safety plan is adhered to and that the daily operation of the construction site is carried out safely. .
•    Stakeholder Coordination: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met in a proactive and safe way.
•    Risk Management: Identify and mitigate potential risks to ensure project continuity and safety compliance. Conduct work environment plans, risk assessments, safety patrols and actively working with Volvo Cars systematic work environment and safety culture.

 

What you'll bring

In this role, you will contribute to Volvo Cars safety culture, making sure that our construction projects follows all regulatory and internal expectations on a safe and attractive workplace. Your collaborative approach will be crucial as you work closely with internal and external stakeholders to navigate the intricacies of each project, ultimately delivering optimal results. Your proficiency will be instrumental in driving successful project outcomes in a safe and systematic manner.


Requirements:
•    Minimum 5 years with experience of BAS-P and BAS-U in construction projects.
•    Certificate in BAS-P and BAS-U, issued not older than 5 years.
•    Strong communication skills in Swedish and English.
•    Desirable: Experience in work environment coordination in manufacturing industry.
