Process Engineer Paintshop

The main tasks are to:

  • Drive efficiency improvements for current processes (QDFIPS).
  • Perform 2nd line process problem analysis (through DMAIC methodic) and participate in the problem solving process, when expertise competence is needed.
  • Responsible for Process Engineering targets (QDFIPS) within time/technique/cost.
  • Increase commonality and share best practices by working together within Purchasing & Manufacturing Engineering.
  • Decrease manufacturing variability within the Process Engineering area.
  • Provide production organisation with the necessary tools and methods, guidelines for containments, …
  • Upon request, support core or commodity, when expertise competence on production processes is needed.
  • Act as the interface between the Production department and Plant Engineering / Manufacturing Engineering for process studies

 

Competence Requirements / Profile

  • MSc in the engineering are or similar competence acquired through proven experience.
  • Practical experience from a production process preferable : evidences of process optimisations and realisations.
  • Profound knowledge about the processes, methods, and tools at Manufacturing and Manufacturing Engineering
  • Certified Green Belt or Black Belt is preferable.
  • Dutch language, spoken and written, English in spoken and written.
  • Strong ability to co-operate.
  • Analytical
