What you’ll do
- Be responsible for new project stamping and casting die lead-in.be an interface with ME and die supplier, organize process layout and die structure review, lead die sets buyoff, tryout in home line performance run and Ramp Up.
- Write and carry process standard, be responsible for maintenance process standard publishing and updating. Make sure process documents are correct complete standard and available.
- Check and monitor process effective, finish improvement and solution.
- Understanding parts design, critical problem analysis and plan solution, guarantee die quality and efficiency running.
- Be responsible for identifying risk, summary lessons learned, input into new project development phase. prevent happen again in advance. Process layout and die structure could be more reasonable.
- Organize and implement the optimization and improvement of die properties of casting and stamping shop, M3MU, reduce operating costs and improve the stability and reliability of the system.
- Guide die maintenance internal, write die PM standard, establish die maintenance resume, keep PM implemented according to plan, production stable.
- Be responsible for spare parts management, reduce cost, achieve the target of die maintenance TA.
- Be responsible for stamping and casting die sets training course, coach die engineer back up and maintenance, improve team whole skill level.
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree or above, major in mechanical, material forming or automation related.
- At least 10 years’ experience of die design and develop in die sets plant. Ether or at least 10 years’ experience of project develop and die maintenance in vehicle plant.
- Be rich with stamping process technology, be good at die structure and application, be familiar with industry-leading stamping technology.
- Possess rich experience in stamping process development, master the control methods of project, process review, die structure design review, casting, milling machine, assemble, tryout, buyoff, and production improve.
- Familiar with stamping and die-casting process equipment, mechanical, metal materials, and heat treatment related professional knowledge.
- Own experience in the development and management of aluminum sheet molds and be familiar with various problems and solutions of aluminum stamping parts during production.
- Possess the ability to maintain and solve problems in production of stamping/die-casting molds and have rich experience in mold maintenance.
- Master problem analysis methods, possess good logical thinking, strong ability to summarize and analyze, and express clearly and accurately.
- Able to lead the technical team to conduct special research projects, solve difficult problems, and improve the operational ability of stamping/die-casting molds.
- Able to design non-standard components independently and develop mold modification plans.
- Ability to deal with dimensional problems and vehicle matching problems.
- Good computer and software skills (CATIA, CAD, Autoform, flow3D).
- Good English reading and writing skills.
