Procurement Plant Team Manager

Summary of the role:

  • As a key role of the procurement organization, who is located in Volvo Cars plants and acts as primary interface within procurement for the plants on all deviated issues from suppliers.
  • The PPT Manager, as a leader, shapes and develops the PPT team and collaborate with the plant customers.
  • The PPT organization works in close cooperation with Plant Stakeholders, Site SQM and R&D to minimize the impact to the customer.
  • The PPT manager reports to PPT senior manager or Director.

 

What you will do?

  • Support plant 1st analysis with certain contribution and competence.
  • Support and collaborate with IMQ to secure ERA and minimize impact to plant production.
  • Responsible for D1 to D8 T/A/Q report problem solving related to supplier process issues.
  • Daily use VSIM/VIRA/Power-B and other tools to manage supplier process related issues.
  • Support and collaborate with PPL/LL (procurement project leader/launch leader) to secure new project successfully launching in plants.
  • Responsible for initiating intensified plant activities (IPA)in plants for underperforming suppliers.
  • Support SSQM/Buyer organization for supplier systematic issues (SSI) and serious concern (SC)cases
  • and provide solid input.
  • Responsible to drive 3MIS High hurt field related issues caused by supplier processes.
  • Support for market warranty issues.
  • Use my data and competencies to identify potential gaps and improvements areas for suppliers.
  • Support constraint and SCC team in plants with my process knowledge and quality background.
  • Work with team to secure department KPI/OKR implementation.
  • Responsible for team development and support team.
  • Global alignment and collaboration.
  • Provide internal and external trainings in area of my competences.
  • I have knowledge of problem-solving methodology and I use it during my day-to-day work.

 

Why do you fit the profile?

  • Bachelor’s degree or master’s degree.
  • Minimum 5 years automotive experience preferably within supplier quality or quality areas.
  • Minimum 3 years management experience.
  • Fluent in English (Written and Spoken).
