Summary of the role:

The software technical leader is the expert to understand and trouble shooting SW diagnostic on the vehicle during the manufacturing process, with communication and coordination with R&D and ME. 
This role is focused on the vehicle software and integration engineering in support of the manufacturing. It is important that this person is excited about learning new skills and systems and to be down on the floor in the details of various subsystems – digging through the backlogs, find the root cause and developing solutions to complex problems.

 

What you will do?
•    Diagnostic.
•    Responsible for debugging the vehicle electrical unit management systems and performing diagnostics on the failures by looking at data logged by the vehicle, and directly on the manufacture site with onboard diagnostic tools.
•    Working in the manufacturing quality team, and coordinate with the design teams to perform further root cause analysis with component owners where necessary.
•    Massive data analysis is required to enable the trouble shooting for ECUs malfunction/DTC related issues.
•    Be the subject matter expert liaison between the system design, quality, and manufacturing teams by communicating the latest product changes and information to the rest of the team.

•    Systematic knowledge for complete vehicle software management.
•    Profound knowledge for vehicle electric architecture, CAN protocol, UDS protocol are required.
•    Experience with compete vehicle software and vehicle power management development and validation.
•    Bachelor or Master degree in Computer Science/ Automotive Technology / Electrical Engineering / Mechanical Engineering / Mechatronics or similar. 
•    Able to read or interpret Python and C/C++. Experience with data acquisition and analysis and processing tools, including one or more programming or scripting languages is a plus.
•    Able to read, interpret electrical schematics, experience with PCB design systems such as Altium NEXUS is a plus.
•    Able to read, interpret and design mechanical drawings, experience with CAD systems such as CATIA is a plus.
•    Minimum 2+ years of experience on products that were in or have since entered production.
•    Be fluent in English.
