The position is based in Charleston Sc, United States and will require some travel to our different sites worldwide.


What will you do? 

As Manager for one of the two local Indus teams in Final Assembly, VCCH (Charleston), you will be leading a team of engineers responsible for the product, process and equipment, to proactively act and drive activities aligned with manufacturing requirements, that secure flawless introduction of car programs/ RCP and global assembly solutions into our plants.

The main responsibility for Indus is to implement vehicle programs, change orders and process changes in respective production site. The Indus team also actively participates in defining and maintaining technical and commercial strategies in each area.

You have a close collaboration with other Indus and Program Managers, Shop Engineering, Plant Launch and HQ in Gothenburg to ensure that the industrialization of the programs meets the highest product and process standards to fulfill the program delivery towards the plant. As Indus manager you will report directly to the Indus Director ME Final Assembly and will be a part of the ME Final Assembly Global Indus team. As member of the management team you are not only representing your team but are also expected to bring both ideas and engagement for the complete unit in your vehicle plant.

Fluency in English, both written and spoken is required for the role.
