Volvo Car Belux is looking for a new colleague to join our Marketing Operations team. In this exciting role as Events & Brand Activator, your skills and knowledge are essential as a vital bridge between our brand and consumers, using content, partnerships, activations and experiences to strengthen relationships, reach new audiences in a cost-efficient way, deliver key messages and drive measurable brand and business results.


Key responsibilities as Events & Brand Activator at Volvo Car Belux:

•    Activations & brand Experiences: Plan, execute, and manage brand activations, experiences and consumer events (B2B & B2C) in collaboration with specialized partners that align with our goals and engage our target audience. Ensure seamless execution, from concept development to post­ activity analysis.
•    Brand & Storytelling: Maintain consistency in brand presence and messaging across all events, partnerships, and content initiatives. Use storytelling techniques to create meaningful connections with our audience.

•    Brand Partnership Development: Identify and cultivate strategic partnerships to enhance brand visibility and expand our reach. Collaborate with partners to create co-branded campaigns and experiences that resonate with both audiences.

•    Social Media Strategy & Content Creation: Develop and implement a social media strategy that drives engagement, increases brand awareness, and tells our story. Create and curate compelling content for all social media platforms that reflects our brand identity.

•    Community management: Closely collaborate with our community management team to actively engage with our online community in the right tone of voice to foster meaningful conversations and create positive direct relationships.
•    Performance tracking: Set KPl's on projects and monitor success. You can interpret and visualize data in a clear way to report it and look for learnings. You stay up to date on novelties and trends and continuously drive innovation and improvement.

•    Manage and allocate budgets efficiently, seek for optimization and maximize ROI.


In this role you will collaborate closely with our Marketing Operations team and with our Marketing colleagues in Sweden. So, if you enjoy working internationally and cross-functionally - this might be the job for you!


Are you on the right track?


We are looking for someone with a degree within marketing or a related field (or equivalent through experience), with a broad work experience in B2C and B2B in an international environment. Automotive experience is not a must.

You have proven experience in managing events and brand activations. You are hands-on and can guide stakeholders and projects (from small to large – from briefing agencies to arranging logistics). You are also capable of taking the lead to engage the right stakeholders and bring visions together throughout a project lifecycle. You excel at translating a vision to a strong set-up. You balance the bigger picture with attention to detail, ensuring that all aspects of the project are aligned with its ultimate goals. 

With a deep understanding of our brand and what it means to deliver a premium experience, you ensure that every initiative reflects our high standards of quality and excellence.

You understand how to connect to customers, communicate consumer-oriented and how to effectively use experiences and channels to reach our audience and bring our brand to life.

Finally, you are fluent in Dutch, French and English.
