What you'll do

The Role

As a Software Engineer, you will drive digital innovation by leading critical technology initiatives with global teams. You’ll design and implement solutions impacting millions worldwide, supporting Volvo’s vision for autonomous, electric, and connected vehicles.

Key Responsibilities
Technical Leadership & Development

• Lead development and implementation using Apex Custom APIs, Apex Debugging and Logging, Apex Integration with External Systems, Salesforce Apex Development, Salesforce Architecture, Salesforce Flows and Process Builder, Salesforce Platform Administration, Salesforce Sales Cloud, Salesforce Service Cloud, Salesforce Process Builder.

• Design, build, and maintain scalable solutions supporting global operations.

• Collaborate with APEC stakeholders across product management and engineering teams.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Partner with international teams using Microsoft Teams, Slack, SharePoint, and Azure DevOps.

• Participate actively in Agile processes and sprint planning.

• Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation across regions.

Innovation & Continuous Improvement

• Research and evaluate emerging technologies to enhance platform capabilities.

• Contribute to roadmap planning and architecture decisions.

• Mentor junior team members and foster knowledge sharing initiatives.

What you'll bring

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in software development, system administration, or related fields.

• Deep expertise in Apex Custom APIs, Apex Debugging and Logging, Apex Integration with External Systems, Salesforce Apex Development, Salesforce Architecture, Salesforce Flows and Process Builder, Salesforce Platform Administration, Salesforce Sales Cloud, Salesforce Service Cloud, Salesforce Process Builder with proven implementation success.

• Experience collaborating effectively with global teams across multiple time zones.

• Industry knowledge in automotive, manufacturing, or enterprise software (preferred).

Technical Skills

• Advanced proficiency in Apex Custom APIs, Apex Debugging and Logging, Apex Integration with External Systems, Salesforce Apex Development, Salesforce Architecture, Salesforce Flows and Process Builder, Salesforce Platform Administration, Salesforce Sales Cloud, Salesforce Service Cloud, Salesforce Process Builder.

• Strong understanding of cloud platforms, DevOps practices, and CI/CD pipelines.

• Experience with enterprise integration patterns and microservices architecture.

• Proficiency in database design and optimization using SQL and NoSQL technologies.
