This role is within our Digital Finance team, which has the goal to provide effective and correct financial transactions and contract management for Volvo Cars and our customers. You will be part of the corporate cluster with the goal to support and develop the Finance system landscape to secure Closings with a minimum of disturbance.


Main responsibilities

  • Driving architecture within the Corporate cluster
  • Ensuring realization of solutions in accordance with operational requirements
  • Creating a stable solution architecture that realizes the system's functional requirements and quality attributes
  • Ensuring that architectural principles are followed
  • Ensuring that technical solutions are supporting the roadmap for each product team
  • Driving and establishing a future proof architecture based on our architecture principles
  • Part of modernization effort – Technology evaluation, Technology upgradation, Cloud transformation
  • Closely collaborate with other technical experts as well as with our stakeholders


Do you fit the profile?

  • 8 + years of SAP functional consultant experience in FI /CO and Tax domain.
  • FI, GL, AP, AR, Company Code, and Tax Design, Configuration and Implementation experience.
  • Certified in S4 HANA and 3+ years working with S4 HANA implementation projects.
  • Hands on experience in implementing at least 2 Full cycle SAP implementation projects in S4 Hana/ECC.
  • Worked in highly customized SAP End to End Implementation project from Realization, Cutover activities to Go-Live & Support
  • Strong functional and business process background in all aspects of financial and accounting operations and tax practice.
  • Designed, configured, tested, and implemented European Tax, US Tax, VAT, SAFT and withholding tax for multiple countries.
  • Designed and configured pricing schema, condition tables, access sequence and condition records related to tax for automatic tax determination for both Purchase & Sales
  • Nice to have working experience on TAX third party systems - Vertex, Taxware, Sovos etc integrations with SAP
  • Nice to have FIORI experience on various TAX reporting, DRC.
