What we offer
Software & Hardware Lifecycle Mgmt ART is a part of the R&D Digital organization within Digital, Volvo Cars. We deliver capabilities for Research & Development, Manufacturing Engineering and Design; enabling hardware engineering and UX development. The cluster consists of cross-functional teams with end to end responsibility for operation, development, methods/processes, support and education with responsibility for approx. 180 applications mainly within the CAx/PDM area.

The ART are driving an initiative to roll out a completely new Teamcenter environment based on Active Workspace which will replace existing PLM system.

Main responsibilities


  • Work with maintenance, operation and support for Teamcenter and CATIA. Propose and develop functionality that will improve stability and performance.
  • Willingness to work in 24 * 7 support environment.
  • Investigating new technologies to improve and optimize the application.
  • Problem solving attitude.
  • Teamcenter server processes maintenance and operation in Linux and Windows environments. Batch jobs maintenance and operation.
  • Improve and develop tools for operation functionality / Stability / High Availability.
  • perform, KB articles reviews, GTAC reporting
  • Infra monitoring, performance, extended debug logging, running utilities, standard preferences changes


Do you fit the profile?


  • University degree or equivalent working experience.
  • At least three years of experience working with supporting / administration of Teamcenter + CATIA. Has worked with User support & operations
  • Experience from working with global and complex environments in a Linux environment.
  • Experience in working with ticketing system including KB articles.
  • Good knowledge of root cause analysis, recurring incident solving, proposing improvements.
  • Experience from Teamcenter Multisite. (Nice to Have)
  • Good knowledge of Active Workspace, Solr database, Docker and Visualization.
  • Knowledge of Linux (Must )
  • Windows Server operating systems,  Apache / JBoss / Load Balancers / firewalls. (Nice to Have)
  • Experience in performance analysis.
  • Can work with Teamcenter tools and utilities
  • Experience in investigating new technologies to improve and optimize the application
  • Fluent in English with strong communication skills
  • Agile ways of working
