What you'll do

The Role

As a Software Engineer – Core Cloud and Commerce Cloud, you will contribute to Volvo’s global digital vision by designing and implementing high‑impact technology solutions. You will collaborate with international teams to deliver platforms that support autonomous, electric, and connected vehicles—driving world‑class customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Leadership & Development

Lead development using CPQ, Salesforce Sales Cloud, Salesforce Service Cloud, salesforce Commerce Cloud and Apex.
Design and maintain scalable, secure, and reliable digital solutions.
Collaborate with APEC stakeholders across product and engineering teams.

Cross‑Functional Collaboration

Partner with global teams using Microsoft Teams, Slack, SharePoint, Azure DevOps.
Participate in Agile ceremonies and sprint planning.
Create and maintain technical documentation across regions.
Support 24/7 operations through on-call rotations and incident management.

 
Innovation & Continuous Improvement
- Research and evaluate emerging technologies.
- Contribute to roadmap planning and architecture discussions.
- Mentor junior engineers and foster knowledge sharing.

What you'll bring

Professional Experience

5+ years of hands-on experience in software development.
Deep expertise in Salesforce technologies with proven implementation success.
Knowledge of Apex + LWC + Flows + Integrations
Expertise in OCAPI (Open Commerce API) and SCAPI (Shopper API).
Experience integrating external systems via REST/SOAP APIs and service frameworks.
Knowledge of payment gateway integration, OMS integration, and inventory services.
Advanced proficiency in, Salesforce Clouds (sales cloud and service cloud), Apex,    Salesforce Commerce Cloud .

- Preferred: automotive or enterprise software industry experience.

Technical Skills

Advanced proficiency in CPQ, Salesforce Clouds, Apex, Salesforce Commerce Cloud .
Strong understanding of cloud platforms, DevOps, CI/CD pipelines.
Strong understanding of Core Data Model (Leads, Opportunities, Cases, Accounts, Contacts)
Experience with enterprise integration and microservices.
Proficiency in SQL and NoSQL.
