What we offer
You will join the digital area of Supply Chain and Procurement and be part of the cluster Parts Supply & Logistics (PS&L). This product cluster delivers digital solutions that support our business customers in ensuring stable logistics flows of spare parts to our global destinations. One challenge today is the legacy system landscape where our mission is to simplify and modernize it to serve the future business demands. This is an exciting and challenging task for our teams and of course we have fun during this journey.

Main responsibilities

• Providing technical mainframe competence.
• Aligning and coordinating delivery with Architects, Product owners and product team colleagues to ensure consistency in solutions.
• Gathering functional and non-functional requirements from the stakeholders and document such requirements.
• Collaborating within and outside the team to secure resilient solutions and shared technical design.
• Providing technical guidance to junior members – Code Review, Test Automation, Dev Ops best practices.
• Part of modernization effort – Technology evaluation, Technology upgradation, Cloud transformation.

Do you fit the profile?

• BSc or equivalent training/experience in Computer Science or other relevant subject area and have 8+ years of industry experience.

• 4-7 years of development and maintenance experience in Cobol and IMB mainframe.
• Proficiency in Cobol, JCL and IMS DB2 and DL1 databases. Some years of practice from software development, testing and operational management (Design/Build/Maintain/DevOps) of IT systems/applications.
• Complementary skills in the more modern technology stack like Java, SQL databases and querying and modern integration & development architecture like API management and microservices.

• Technical Design and experience of working with Agile methodologies (product development).
• Nice to have:
  • Domain experience from Supply Chain Logistics and/or automotive industry.
