- The chance to work in the Content Platform team, responsible for maintaining and enhancing third-party and internal CMS systems, the backend services and APIs around them, and supporting product teams and content editors across web, mobile, in-store, and car applications.
- A role with a strong backend focus using C# and .NET, while still requiring a full-stack mindset.
- Close collaboration with frontend engineers, product teams, and editors to enable scalable, reliable, and flexible content delivery across multiple channels.
What you'll do
Main responsibilities
• Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs supporting CMS-driven and related platform experiences.
• Work extensively with C# and .NET to build scalable and reliable platform services.
• Integrate and support third-party CMS platforms as well as internal CMS solutions.
• Build and maintain API integrations and gateway-based architectures for content delivery.
• Collaborate with product teams, editors, and frontend engineers to support content needs across digital channels.
• Contribute to platform reliability, performance, and operational excellence.
• Participate in on-call rotations and support the team’s production systems.
• Continuously improve development practices, documentation, and system maintainability.
What you'll bring
Technical Proficiency:
• An opportunity for engineers with 5–8 years of professional software development experience, with a strong emphasis on backend systems.
• Strong hands-on experience with C# and .NET.
• Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs and backend services.
• Exposure to NoSQL or document databases (e.g. MongoDB, Cosmos DB).
• Experience working with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Jenkins).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure preferred), containerized application development, and cloud services across Azure using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Hands-on experience with building Web APIs with microservices architecture using event-driven and REST API-based communication.
• Experience in headless Content Management Systems (CMS) is a strong plus.
• Very good knowledge and understanding of Clean Code and SOLID principles.
• Deep experience in developing and documenting APIs.
• Knowledge of API Gateways and service-to-service integration patterns is a plus.
• Long experience in testing, including unit, integration, and API/domain testing.
Nice to Have:
• Frontend experience with React, JavaScript, TypeScript, and Next.js.
• Experience working with or contributing to a design system.
• Experience with Content stack is a plus.
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools (e.g. Grafana, Kibana).
• Good understanding of serverless architecture such as Azure Functions.
• Exposure to modern AI technologies, including LLMs, RAG architectures, vectorization techniques, and embeddings.
