Senior Analytics & BI Engineer

Software, the fuel for mobility

We bring bold digital visions to life. So we’re on the lookout for more curious and creative engineers who want to create change – one line of high-quality code at a time. Our transformation isn't for everyone, but if you're excited about solving the leading-edge technological challenges facing the auto industry, then let’s talk about your next move.

Let's introduce ourselves

By joining the Platform Data Spoke, you will be part of a new team with a clear vision: to leverage data, analytics, and AI to guide decisions, amplify value, and unlock new opportunities that extend and fuel sustainable growth. The spoke plays a strategic role in enabling leadership and teams to make smarter decisions and innovate faster. You will work hands-on with a modern technology stack while shaping best practices for how platform and cross-functional data is used. This is an opportunity to grow your skills in a truly international environment, where collaboration, learning, and trust are at the core of how we work.

What you'll do

As a Senior Analytics & BI Engineer, you will act as the Lead Analytics & BI Engineer within the Platform Data Spoke — driving how insights are shaped, visualized, and delivered across the organization. You will define KPIs, build robust BI models, and enable data-driven storytelling for leadership and teams. Working closely with the Lead Analytics Engineer and other platform data colleagues, you’ll ensure that platform and cross-functional data are transformed into consistent, trusted, and actionable insight products.

  • Act as the lead for BI and analytics solution design, building scalable and reliable insight products using Snowflake and Azure data services.
  • Define and operationalize KPI frameworks and metric definitions that ensure consistent decision-making.
  • Develop and maintain semantic models and dashboards in Power BI (or similar BI tools).
  • Collaborate with the Lead Analytics Engineer to align BI layers with the underlying data architecture.
  • Translate business needs into insight solutions that drive measurable business outcomes.
  • Establish best practices for visualization, storytelling, and BI delivery.
  • Support knowledge sharing and mentoring within the spoke and across teams

What you'll bring

You see data not just as numbers or charts, but as data products that should be trusted, reusable, and valuable for the whole company. You are curious and motivated by understanding how data connects to business impact, and you thrive in a collaborative environment where engineers, analysts, and stakeholders solve problems together — across countries and cultures.

  • Typically 7+ years of experience in analytics, business intelligence, or related roles
  • Hands-on experience with Snowflake and Azure Data Services (e.g., Synapse, Data Factory, or Databricks).
  • Deep proficiency in Power BI (or similar tools) — including data modeling, DAX/SQL, and visualization design.
  • Familiarity with modern data transformation and modeling tools (dbt or similar).
  • Experience defining and operationalizing business metrics and KPIs.
  • Strong communication skills for both documentation and stakeholder engagement.
  • Comfortable working in a global, distributed team setup.
