Main responsibilities

• End-to-End Automation Oversight: Lead and manage the end-to-end Automated QA process, ensuring seamless migration to Test and Production environments, and providing support to IA Developers and Controllers. 
• Quality Assurance Governance: Review and approve automation process solutions, adhering to standard design principles and Volvo Cars best practices. Act as a shield between the testing and production environment to maintain code quality. 
• Collaborative Improvement: Collaborate within the IA team to drive actions for feedback related to QA process changes and improvements, actively participating in continuous improvement initiatives. 
• Work with other platform infrastructure architects (M365) to make sure Power Platform best practices, efficient solutions, application development, and deployment guidelines are followed.
• Own production environments and make sure environment health is up to mark.
• Mentor and coach team members on Power Platform development best practices. Share knowledge, conduct code reviews, and foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the team.
• Establish and enforce development standards, coding guidelines, and quality assurance processes for Power Platform projects.
• Drive consistency, maintain code quality, process documentation, design standards, and ensure adherence to industry standards.
• Ownership and Accountability: Take end-to-end ownership and accountability for the entire QA process, working closely with IA factory POs to maintain the development integrity of the solution. 

Do you fit the profile?

• Microsoft Power Platform Solution Architect Expert PL-600 Certified.
• A minimum of 6+ years’ experience in relevant technology, with at least 4+ of leadership experience which has been specific to the development, design, and delivery of Power Platform applications, most importantly Power Apps & Automate flows.
• Proven experience as a Power Platform Tech Lead/Technical Architect with expertise in designing and delivering Power Platform solutions.
• Creative problem solver and ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues that arise during development quickly and efficiently.
• Functional and technical knowledge of Microsoft Power Platform, Office 365, and related Microsoft cloud solutions (Azure Active Directory, Azure), and other third-party technologies.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Power Platform architecture, components, and services.
• Well-versed with Agile delivery lifecycle and methodology (DevOps) and comfortable leading the Agile ceremonies/Scrum.
• Strong interest in data and Power BI for data modeling, visualization, and reporting.
• Hands-on knowledge of SQL.
• Experience building and managing SharePoint data structures (creating and configuring sites, security models, Dataverse integration) and SharePoint sites.
• Experience in integrating API solutions within the Power Platform ecosystem.
• Experience with Power Platform application packages, deployment, and ALM process setup
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse international teams, cross-functional teams, and business stakeholders from across the world.
• A passion for technology and drive to build enterprise systems, driven by innovation and automation first mindset to find new smarter ways to get work done.
• Nice to have:
  • Power Automate Desktop experience.
  • Understanding of Azure technical infrastructure and its components
  • Experience and knowledge of basic coding languages including Python, C#, HTML5, and JavaScript
