What you’ll do

The position is for a senior integration developer that can help our customers application teams at Volvo Cars to create and maintain their integrations using self-service capabilities or create the integrations needed for them. You need to understand how to work with integration patterns and documentation to translate this into requirements of what needs to be implemented in the integration portal.

Moreover, you’ll be responsible for:

•    Integration architecture
•    Integration development/configuration/documentation 
•    Educating and promoting self-service tools from Integration Centre of Enablment (ICoE) to application teams
•    Helping application teams with the end-to-end integration testing
•    Helping application teams with support on using ICoE strategic messaging platforms 

The position is in Bangalore.

What you’ll bring
We believe that good engineers can switch and learn new languages and technologies, but to be a great match for our team we believe you possess the following primary skills:

•    Deep understanding of integration concepts and integration patterns 
•    Knowledge of creating integration design proposals and documenting them 
•    Capability of communicating with other application developers and stakeholders. 
•    Scrum software development methodology
•    Agile believer, motivated and positive attitude 
•    Ability to work well in a team 

You also have an :

•    Experience of messaging using IBM MQ (or equivalent) 
•    Experience from working in a Scrum-team 
•    Experience of middleware using IBM ACE (or equivalent) 
•    Experience of working in GitHub

Value-Added Abilities:

•    Development with Java 
•    REST APIs (Knowledge/basic understanding)
•    Docker & Kubernetes 
•    ELK stack and TICK stack for logging and monitoring
