What we offer
This role is within our Corporate cluster within the Digital Finance area. In our product team Tax and statutory reporting we ensure compliance with legislation in the areas of tax and financial reporting.

Our mission is to support the Finance community with reliable, automated and scalable solutions that enable accurate and timely financial reporting and analysis. As one of our new Engineering managers, you will guide one of our product teams focusing on SAP FI/CO, SAP PI and SAP ABAP in both ECC and through our journey towards SAP S4/HANA.

Main responsibilities

You will lead and grow a team of hardworking engineers through hiring, mentoring, inspiring and feedback. You will ensure, through streamlined execution and experimentation, that our solutions meet the needs of our customers quickly and accurately. You will be the voice of engineering in the Product team through a friendly and effective collaboration with your product counterpart.  

 
Moreover, you will advocate and strengthen a modern, agile software development and help us develop and foster good engineering practices. You will ensure the solutions are scalable, sustainable, architecturally sound, and that technical debt is both incurred consciously and repaid in a reasonable time. You will collaborate with other engineering leaders across the organization. 

In this position you will also work cross products with improvements in our Ways of working together with EM’s from our other product teams.

Do you fit the profile?

We believe that you have experience of working with SAP, and it is meritorious if you have worked with SAP S/4HANA or SAP ECC. You love to lead, develop, inspire and grow an engineering team, and have previous experience doing so, and you know what it takes to build a high-performing and phenomenal team.  

You are very knowledgeable and passionate about modern software development that builds products our customers love. You are passionate about digital technologies and willing to work hands-on to try new technologies. You are good at leveraging vendor capability for the team’s delivery. Experience within the Financial area is a plus. 

Finally, you are someone that fully embraces a growth mindset, and you have the ability to encourage others to do the same. You are someone who likes to have fun at work and makes sure everyone always feels welcome and included!
