The Director of Open Source is accountable for driving adoption, maturity, and measurable outcomes across the enterprise, ensuring that open source practices scale with our products, platforms, and regulatory landscape.
Key responsibilities include:
- Translate open source ambitions into concrete execution, ensuring policies, frameworks, and practices are effectively embedded in day-to-day software development.
- Maintain accountability for OSS compliance outcomes across global teams, including license obligations, SBOM quality, and regulatory alignment.

You are likely a strong fit if you:
- Have extensive experience working with open source software in large, complex, and global organizations.
- Bring strong understanding of OSS compliance, licensing, and regulatory expectations, and know how to apply them pragmatically at scale.
- Have held roles where influence, alignment, and accountability mattered more than direct line control.
- Are comfortable engaging with executive leadership, legal and compliance stakeholders, and deeply technical teams.
- Have experience participating in or collaborating with open source communities, foundations, or industry initiatives.
- Understand standards and frameworks such as OpenChain, SPDX, and SBOM practices, and how they support enterprise maturity.
- Are motivated by building long-term capability, trust, and sustainable software practices.
