Transformational Role: Act as a bridge between Volvo Cars IA and vendor teams, facilitating collaboration and ensuring alignment with cybersecurity directives and the Robotics Operating Model (ROM).
 

Main responsibilities

 

As a Digital Transformation Lead, your responsibilities include:

 

 

  • Strategic Planning: Develop and execute a comprehensive automation strategy aligned with the organization's overall goals and objectives and Identify opportunities for automation to streamline processes, reduce costs, and improve overall operational efficiency.

 

  • Technology Assessment and Implementation: Assess and select appropriate automation technologies, tools, and platforms based on the organization's needs and industry best practices. Lead the implementation of automation solutions, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.

 

  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Build strong working relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders, serving as a change agent to promote an automation culture. Work closely with key stakeholders to understand their needs and expectations regarding automation initiatives. Foster strong relationships with business units, IT teams, and other relevant departments to ensure alignment and cooperation.

 

  • Process Optimization: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze and optimize existing business processes for automation. Design and implement efficient workflows, ensuring alignment with business objectives and compliance requirements.

 

  • Change Management: Develop and implement change management strategies to ensure successful adoption of automation technologies across the organization.

 

  • Strategic Representation: Represent vendor M&M and Platform in ASBO, aligning and driving the Platform roadmap, ensuring the right strategic alignment.

 

  • Platform Oversight: Oversee the Intelligent Automation Platform, ensuring it is safe, robust, and scalable. Identify gaps and recommend technology solutions for performance improvement.

 

  • Continuous Improvement: Continuously improve the Robotics Operating Model (ROM) and IA Ways of Working in collaboration with the Volvo Cars Team. Work closely in post-sales initiatives to improve the automation KPIs of deployed automation solutions to drive efficiency increase.

 

  • Performance Monitoring: Monitor and report on vendor team KPIs, progress, and priorities. Drive and monitor continuous improvements, efficiencies, synergies, and harmonization into vendor Blue Prism M&M, QA & and Platform teams. Regularly report on the progress of automation projects, identifying areas for improvement and optimization.

 

  • Vendor Management: Lead the vendor initiative towards Intelligent Automation, operationally managing different vendor teams as needed. Act as a bridge between Volvo Cars IA and MSA partner COE, as well as other vendor teams at Volvo Cars. Serve as an escalation point for vendor IA COE.

  • Proven experience in leading automation initiatives, preferably in a transformational role.
  • In-depth knowledge of automation technologies, such as robotic process automation (RPA), Power Platform, machine learning, and artificial intelligence.
  • Strong project management skills with a track record of successful implementations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Innovation Mindset: A driven individual with a passion for innovation, constantly seeking new and smarter ways to accomplish tasks.
  • RPA Solution Design: Good understanding of High-Level RPA Solution Designing.
  • Agile and DevOps: Well-versed with Agile delivery lifecycle and methodology (DevOps).
