In the Intelligent Automation team, you will lead the charge in designing and implementing infrastructure solutions that empower automation initiatives. Your contributions will directly impact thousands of colleagues as we automate both front and back-end processes across all departments and markets within our company.

 

The role encompasses the entire lifecycle of infrastructure architecture, spanning our global operations. You will not only be responsible for crafting robust and scalable infrastructure but also for staying on the cutting edge of new technologies and solutions. Main responsibilities

 

  • Azure and RPA Infrastructure Leadership:

 

  • Lead the design, implementation, and management of complex Azure-based infrastructure solutions that align with our business objectives and scalability requirements while also supporting RPA (Blue Prism) automation needs.
  • Define and enforce best practices for Azure infrastructure, ensuring security, high availability, and optimal performance for both Azure services and RPA processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide expert guidance on integrating Azure services and technologies into our existing systems while meeting RPA automation requirements.
  • Assume full ownership and strategic leadership for the entire RPA infrastructure hosted on Azure cloud, focusing on scalability, fault tolerance, and cost optimization.
  • Oversee the management of RPA (Blue Prism) software, including version control, deployment, and monitoring, to ensure seamless automation operations.
  • Collaborate with RPA development teams to understand automation requirements and design the underlying Azure infrastructure accordingly.
  • Assess and select the appropriate hardware, software, and cloud resources to support RPA deployments within the Azure environment.
  • Design highly available and scalable infrastructure to ensure the reliability of both Azure services and RPA processes.
  • Lead the implementation and deployment of RPA infrastructure components, including servers, virtual machines, databases, and network configurations within Azure.
  • Configure and optimize the infrastructure to meet performance and security standards for Azure and RPA environments.
  • Implement security best practices to safeguard both Azure and RPA environments and data, including access controls, encryption, and authentication mechanisms.
  • Stay updated on industry regulations and compliance requirements, ensuring Azure and RPA infrastructure adhere to relevant standards.
  • Monitor the performance of Azure and RPA infrastructure components, proactively addressing bottlenecks or issues to maintain optimal operations.
  • Implement automation scripts and tools to manage and optimize resource allocation, including auto-scaling rules and cost-control measures.
  • Conduct regular capacity planning to accommodate the growing demands of automation processes while optimizing Azure resources.
  • Design and implement redundancy and failover mechanisms within Azure to ensure the high availability of both Azure services and RPA solutions.
  • Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans and backup strategies to minimize downtime for both Azure and RPA environments.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure-related problems promptly, minimizing disruptions to automation workflows.
  • Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices to automate the provisioning and configuration of Azure and RPA infrastructure.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of Azure and RPA infrastructure architecture, configurations, procedures, and best practices.
  • Stay informed about emerging technologies and tools in the RPA and infrastructure domains, evaluating and recommending new technologies or upgrades to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including RPA developers, IT operations, and business stakeholders, and communicate infrastructure requirements and implications to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Continuously assess the performance and cost-effectiveness of Azure and RPA infrastructure, making recommendations for improvements to ensure cutting-edge operations.

 

  • Database Management:

 

  • Take a leadership role in managing and optimizing our database systems, ensuring high availability, security, and performance.
  • Define and implement data governance policies and standards to maintain data quality and integrity.
  • Collaborate closely with data engineers and analysts to enable advanced data analytics and reporting capabilities.

 

  • Team Leadership and Collaboration:

 

  • Lead and inspire a team of infrastructure admin professionals, providing clear direction, architecture design guidance, and mentorship.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and knowledge sharing within the team.
  • Collaborate closely with other intelligent automation management, to align automation and infrastructure strategies with overall business goals.

 

 

 

Do you fit the profile?

 

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience) with overall 8+ years of relevant experience.
  • Proven experience in Azure infrastructure administration and management.
  • Proven experience in designing, deploying, and managing infrastructure for RPA deployments (Blueprism preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of infrastructure technologies, including virtualization, cloud computing, and network architecture.
  • Strong knowledge of Azure services, including virtual machines, networking, storage, and databases.
  • Familiarity with Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices.
  • Familiarity with RPA platforms and tools (e.g., Blue Prism).
  • Proficiency in security and compliance practices in Azure/RPA environments.
  • Experience with backup, disaster recovery, and high availability strategies in Azure.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong scripting and automation skills (PowerShell, Azure CLI, or similar).
  • Knowledge of cloud cost management and optimization techniques.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills with cross-functional teams.
  • Certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate and Azure Solution Architect.
  • Relevant certifications in RPA infrastructure management (e.g., Blueprism Certified RPA Technical Architect/Installation Engineer) are advantageous.
