What you’ll do

Cost Management allows a business to predict future expenses to reduce the chances of budget overrun.  In this position, you will play important role with full end-to-end responsibility to avoid any cost overruns on vehicle programs, ensure program profitability, and keep profit margins achieving the targets.
Is this you? Then we have the perfect mission for you. 

• Direct Material – Ownership for driving x-functional work to reach the target for efficiency of direct material cost in APAC. Align with all key stakeholders on overall target as well as break-down by commodity category and by carlines. Coordinate on regular progress review and prepare to support on any problem-solving activities.
• Total Variable Cost – Extend the ownership to total variable cost in APAC and engage the right stakeholders for individual items, being logistics, warranty, L&OH, etc. Apply similar x-functional approach and drive progress and ultimate outcomes.
• Be part of global Cost Management Team and have regular interaction with related colleagues in HQ.
• Integrate APAC x-functional cost management efforts with global efforts led by HQ.
• Lead / coordinate effort on benchmark analysis and synergy with sister brand within Geely Group.

What you’ll bring

• Bachelor or Master degree, 8+ years OEM experience with Procurement, Engineering, Program Management or other industrial areas (mixed is preferred).
• Business acumen.
• Strong soft skills (project management & communication skills).
• Fluent English.
