Senior DevOps/SRE Engineer

The US Learn & Shop Quality and Reliability Engineering team is looking for a Senior DevOps/SRE Engineer to support building solutions that delight our customers and provide the support needed for an unmatched online shopping experience.

The team is hybrid, located in Mahwah, NJ.

You And Your Skills 

We are looking for an experienced DevOps/SRE Engineer, who has previously built customer facing online solutions. You have deep experience in agile engineering practices and follow current technology and architectural trends. You have considerable experience with building, testing, deploying and maintaining solutions and are comfortable moving between both backend and frontend implementations.

We think you have

•   At least 10 years of working experience.
•   A degree in Computer Science/Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
•   Comprehensive experience with building, optimizing and maintaining build pipelines using Github Actions, ArgoCD and Azure DevOps.
•   Comprehensive experience with containers and container orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes) in a Cloud environment (AWS or Azure).
•   Extensive experience with orchestrating cloud infrastructure automation using tools like Terraform, Pulumi, and Cross-Plane.
•   Significant experience working with observability and reliability tools like Elastic APM, OpenTelemetry, Prometheus and Grafana.
•   Significant experience working in agile teams, working with continuous integration and delivery.
•   Self-awareness and a true teamwork spirit.

•   Experience with tracking team performance with DORA metrics.
•   Experience with other tools like Jenkins, Gitlab and Spinnaker.
•   Experience with participating in an 24/7 on-call rotation.
