What you’ll do

This role is within the Industrial cluster in Digital Finance, responsible for developing digital finance capabilities focusing on product development and industrial controlling.

The main areas in Industrial cluster are Management accounting, Financial analytics, Product pricing, Business planning and Volume planning.

You will be working with a team of highly skilled SAP professionals, currently engaged in agile product development. This position offers possibilities for long-term development within a continuously growing area that has a bright future ahead and where you have a direct influence on both product development for our industrial transformation and the architecture for the SAP Finance solutions for the SAP ECC to S/4HANA business transformation initiative.

You will be responsible for the architecture of complex SAP FICO/PS/MM/PP and logistic solutions from an application and business process standpoint and partner with key stakeholders to transform business processes.

This role is the key contributor in defining solution strategy and design principles to ensure the alignment between business needs and technical solutions. You will be developing and executing architectural strategy for design and implementation, creating, and documenting high level solution designs, and working with Solution Delivery leads to identify scalable options, impacts and recommendations.

You will be working as a technical expert for business teams and assist them with defining, estimating, and recommending optimized solutions. Provide trusted advisor guidance on SAP solutions and migration options; and devise high level road maps and associated business cases to move to SAP S/4HANA architecture. Also, you will make sure that our solutions are in tandem with the overall product strategy and our end-to-end processes.

You can be based in either Gothenburg or Stockholm.

What you’ll bring
We are looking for a person with strong architecture, design and solution skills in SAP FI/CO and SAP PS. We think that you have worked in other large SAP implementation programs and that you are an experienced problem solver that understands what SAP can offer. Preferably you have experience from a manufacturing company, and you have worked with the finance integrations in MM and PP. You are not afraid to suggest solutions and understand where implementing a COTS solution over own developed solutions makes sense. You know how corporate steering is managed in SAP, and you have experience from working with senior management to create the right pre-requisites in SAP to for efficient enterprise management. 

Volvo Cars is embarking on an exciting SAP S4 journey, and if you have SAP S4 experience that is a merit. Prior experience working on SAP ECC to S/4HANA business transformation is a big plus.
