Senior Test Automation Engineer

We seek a Senior Test Automation Engineer to enhance our cross-functional team. You'll contribute to integration, verification, and release testing of vehicle software, focusing on both manual and automated tests for our Complete Hardware In the Loop (HIL) systems. Your expertise will be vital in maintaining our code base, formulating automation strategies, and developing a robust automation framework.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement and maintain test automation strategies.
• Collaborate with teams for knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
• Work on HIL testing and contribute to the broader Volvo test automation community.

Required Skills:

• Proficient in Python and keyword-based test frameworks (e.g., Robot Framework).
• Familiarity with GIT, Jenkins, and substantial experience in test automation.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with MatLab, Simulink, dSPACE hardware and software, CANoe/CANalyzer.
• Knowledge in data visualization tools, CAN LIN, Ethernet, and Agile methodologies.
• Valid driver's license.

Who You Are:

• Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or similar.
• Experience in test automation, ideally in the automotive industry.
• Skilled in software testing, troubleshooting, and hands-on work.
• Strong communication abilities and collaborative mindset.
• Proactive, creative, and committed to teamwork and knowledge sharing
