Senior Software Tester

Who we are

We are a Cross Environment Testing team within the Complete Software Integration and Verification Department. We are a newly started cross functional team that will focus on in- depth fault tracing, new concepts, technology and platforms. We identify and analyse problems and how to test and measure new concepts. We work closely together with all the testing teams within Complete Software Integration & Verification and also actively and proactively nurse system quality with SW developers within R&D

Are you a hands-on person that has a passion for understanding how systems works and strive to improve them? 

 

What will you do on a daily basis? 

 

  • You will do function/system integration testing in early phases to judge if system release is mature enough to move forward with in testing and releasing
  • You will provide feedback to System owners/SW developers of needed corrections to increase speed in SW loops and quality of next releases
  • You will support testers and developers with probing and fault tracing 
  • You will suggest improvements of system design and documentations from learnings with focus in testability and speed (reverse engineering principle ) 

 

Required qualifications

  • M.Sc in Electrical and Software Engineering or similar relevant experience
  • At least 5 years of experience from working with integration driven development from an embedded software system perspective including software test and mechatronic integration
  • Experience within automotive and from working in an international environment     
  • Knowledge and experience in how to systemize complex electrical systems
  • Test development and analysis skills
  • CAN/LIN/ Ethernet (automotive) – Autosar know how Classic and Adaptive 
  • Core Vehicle functions, allocation and signalling over networks 
  • Power distributing in vehicles 
  • Tools (Canoe/Canape, database System Weaver, (Electra)
  • Vehicle measurement know-how  
  • You know how a car works / BEV basic understanding 
  • Driver’s license (B-level)
