Diagnostic SW Development Engineer - Thermal Management

Green Propulsion and Thermal Management are increasingly important areas for Volvo Cars to become leading in Electrification. Are you a SW developer who wants to contribute to energy efficient propulsion? Then this is your chance! We are now looking for two Diagnostic Monitoring Engineers for our thermal system and components.  

 

You will belong to the group Thermal SW. We design and monitor different temperature levels, cooling down, heating up, transfer/transport and store heat for electric motors, battery, control modules etc. all with sustainability in focus. Together we have complete ownership of Thermal Management from first architectural sketch to control software integration & thermal monitoring in vehicles. Your focus will be developing diagnostic monitors for the Thermal System.

What you'll bring
We see that you have at least a BSc within mechatronic, electrical or electronics and solid experience within SW development. You have previous experience from diagnostic monitoring, and vehicle testing. 
•    Experience from SW development, at least 6 years
•    Understanding of Continuous Integration tools such as GIT and Gerrit
•    Curious, structured, good analytical skills and a great technical interest
•    Experience from SW development and System design within automotive development is meritorious 
•    Experience from automotive diagnostic development and verification is highly beneficial
•    Experience from Thermal Management systems is meritorious 
•    Target link, Python, C/C++ experience is meritorious 
•    Driving licence (B) is a prerequisite
•    Driving licence (BE) is meritorious
