What Do We Offer:

  • Exciting role as Vehicle Dynamic Engineer of customer focused area of Deceleration&Steering incl overall responsibility for in house system design and verification.
  • We are now looking for a Deceleration&Steering system Vehicle Dynamic engineer to strengthen our team in house development capability. You will work with a safety related system, be the key attribute leader to secure quality deliveries in time, develop redundant solutions for autonomous driving and do analysis of Deceleration&Steering performance check in car.
  • ART Deceleration Steering are responsible for Hardware and Software and our work stretches from early phases to industrialization and launching new cars on the market. Our main role is to develop functionalities that are closely connected to customers and the way they are experiencing the vehicle. We make impact on the customer’s experience of a premium car!


What you will do?

You will be working in a Vehicle Dynamic lead with agile processes and tools. Lead collaboration with other team members and suppliers. The team is responsible of the implementation and quality assurance of Hardware for brakes and steering. Team task includes planning and organizing project incl. deliverables for releases, leading suppliers and supplier selection together with procurement, analyzing and solving problems, design requirements and system solution and write requirements and issue and change management.

  • Comprehensive understanding of vehicle dynamics, steering control and braking functions. Experience for tuning vehicle control and braking systems
  • Comprehensive understanding of requirements management, function validation, Diagnostics, and CAN structures.
  • Hands on mechanical ability / Understanding of Vehicle systems
  • Analytical skills to prepare prototype vehicles for testing
  • Ability to troubleshoot system issues and propose solutions to those issues.
  • Some travel domestic and internationally should be expected to visit various proving grounds, visit suppliers’ engineering offices and production locations and support Volvo factories during pre-production launch timings.
  • Valid driver’s license required to operate vehicles on proving grounds.
  • PC Skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, CANalyzer, CANape and other technical software)
  • Excellent communication skills coupled with the willingness to pro-actively seek out information from others and convert concepts into specific requirements.
  • Experience with data acquisition systems and Vector CAN tools is a plus.
  • Comprehensive understanding of electrical hardware fundamentals and software development process
  • Strong presentation skills
