The Purpose with the engineer role is to design, integrate and improve manufacturing and/or logistics systems and/or related processes. Collaborates with other professionals to refine product and/or process designs to increase producibility and flow in order to improve quality and decrease costs.

Employees executing and/or coordination of engineering tasks within IO&Q. Authority According to functional description(s), established development models & processes, specific directions and/or guidelines communicated by manager.

 

Responsibility

• Deliver required outcomes by coordinating activities of internal counterparts, subcontractors and suppliers and act as a primary point of contact for them while working within an established contract management plan.

• Identify shortcomings, continuous improvements in existing processes, systems and procedures, and use established methods to solve or address them.

• Help others get the most out of the knowledge sharing by offering support and advice.

• Carry out a range of product and/or process development, engineering activities. Use established systems to analyse customer needs, define & deliver products.

• Work within an established project management plan to achieve specific goals. Competence Requirements
