Summary of the role:
Volvo Cars aims to be the fastest transformer within the automotive industry. The lead auditor of the management system is a key role to support this transformation. The auditor works within the Quality APAC team with the mission to challenge and coach business functions to improve effectiveness and efficiency. Special focus is needed on software and digitalization-related processes to support Volvo Cars ambitions towards full electrification and being a leader in new technology.

 

What you will do?

  • Establish and lead the management system framework including process management.
  • Lead the governance of the management system.
  • Verify the management system efficiency and find business process insight by internal ISO audits throughout the company.
  • Act as a business owner for documented information solutions/applications.
  • Manage external ISO audit and the global multisite ISO certificate.
  • Lead the audit and coordinate the audit team.
  • Ensure the audit conclusions are based on a complete understanding of the processes, circumstances and risks. 
  • Follow-up and secure an effective closure of deviations.
  • Guide and support trainees and auditors.
  • Secure escalation, if there are issues related to the audit.

  • Applicable ISO standards (e.g. ISO 9001, ISO 14001)
  • Knowledge of SW standards such as SPICE, ISO26262 and SUMS
  • Ability to apply audit standards (auditor skills) 
  • Courage to take the initiative and drive progress
  • Comfortable in leading others
  • A team player with strong collaboration skills and willingness to share experiences
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal & written) in local language and fluency in English
