Competence Expert

Our business since its inception in 1991 has been to develop the best retail dealer system and information services for the automotive industry. In the current situation, we have about 100 employees with expertise in areas such as automotive trade, project management, systems and IT. Some of our largest customers are Volvo, Renault and Ford dealers and their general agents and today we have over 10 000 users of our solutions. We are seated in beautiful, newly renovated premises at Lindholmen in Gothenburg. The company is a wholly owned subsidiary of Volvo Car Sweden.

What you will do?

 Support the core concept and structure for technical competence of Volvo dealers to meet customer expectation.

 Improve dealer technical competence by planning, developing and initiating innovative and sustainable competence development projects and activities.

 Evaluate technical competence level and standard for retail level and improve it to meet changing industry future and customer expectation, including new car, new business and new technology.

 Evaluate and ensure the quality of competence development projects and activities to support people’s behaviour changing, performance improvement and retention ensuring at retail level according to customer expectation.

 Plan, consolidate and allocate internal and external resource, e.g. budget, hardware, software, supplier, to ensure above job achieved properly.


Do you fit the profile?

• As the key contact person between Volvo Car Global & Volvo Car China to obtain latest technical training information.

• As the key contact person between VCDC and retail network to improve technical and non-technical competence.

• Evaluate and analysis people competence quality and identify competence development requirements at retail level.

• Manage and support dealer internal trainers and ensure their performance so as to improve dealers’ competence quality.

• Keep steering with retail level to ensure dealers’ fully understanding about their competence quality and the willingness to improve it.
