Sr. Health & Safety Engineer/高级健康安全工程师

  • Ensure that VCDQ staff has the necessary knowledge of the competence requirements which are developed by authorities and organizations regarding work environment.


What you should do

  • Establish and maintain common processes, tools and policies within area of responsibility.
  • Participate in development projects. 
  • Organise to analyse workshop HS status and identify risks
  • Cascade HS process and roll it out systematically
  • Organise EHS audit and related activities
  • Maintain Occupational Health and Safety Management system such as OHS18001/VCMS delivery and quality.
  • The role shall secure that the selection of available training within the field of work environment corresponds to the identified need.  
  • Responsible for activities and tasks described by Health & Safety, role descriptions.
  • Responsible to fulfil targets and deliveries agreed upon.
  • Assist HS manager to implement HS & compliance systems in company to maintain HS management system and achieve HS excellence.
  • Coordinates performance of HS internal & external audits and assists the HS Manager with correcting deficiencies.
  • Develops and coordinates HS training materials and performs HS Training. Assesses new developments and regulations in the health and safety field and organise related training for the related departments and positions.
  • Complies with all company policies and procedures and adhere to company standards. Performs other job-related duties as requested.
  • Responsibility for the activities mentioned above and that documentation on BMS etc linked to the area of expertise is fully updated.
  • Enhance safety culture branding based on the planning and schedule.


What competence should you have

  • At least 3 years of work experience in EHS fields.
  • Bachelor's degree in Safety Engineering, Industrial, Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering. 
  • Fluent English both in written and spoken.
  • Familiar with safety technology and OHSAS18001/ISO45001 management system.
  • This role needs to have an understanding of related applicable laws and regulations within the field of Health and Safety.
  • Registered safety engineer certificate owner is preferred.
  • Good oral and written communication skills bilingually.
  • Expertise in applicable Systems and Microsoft applications.
