ME Propulsion Components, is a section within Manufacturing Engineering. We develop and implement quality assured, flexible and effective production systems in our plants worldwide.
The section is working cross functionally and project oriented, supporting all Volvo Car Corporation´s production plants and car programs locally and globally. Within the Local Industrialization VCDQ Team, we are now looking for a new member working as an Equipment Engineer in charge of Joint.
What you will do?
In new project, responsible for the RFQ of joining, lead the standard of joining, technical communication with supplier, joining equipment design review and by-off.
In charge of model selecting of joining equipment, setting process solution, setting and manage joining equipment parameter, counter signing, inspecting and debugging.
In charge of Robot model selection and programming.
Check and verify drawings and programs.
Perform the FMEA.
Assist the production team to increase the equipment operation rate and fulfil the production plan and correctly calculate standard producing cycle time.
Sum up the problems occur in workshop.
Assist the workshop production team to upgrade efficiency, lower cost, set standard work time and improve product quality.
To follow up and report own assignments to the assigner.
Reporting status and deviations in decided systems / tools and ensure that there are action plans to reach targets.
Handover related system to the end user.
Fulfil other tasks assigned by supervisor.
Why do you fit the profile?
Have more than 5 years equipment invested and modification project experience in passenger car or relevant company.
Master the principle of robot and PLC and can analyze and resolve the problems occurred in the automation line effectively.
Be familiar with the simulation tool of VOLVO system is preferred.
Having the experience of maintenance and management for in related company.
Proficient in Office AUTO CAD and Catia V5.
Good skill in English listening, speaking, reading and writing.
High analytical and problem-solving skills.
Good knowledge of MS windows and MS office applications.
