Job Purpose

Our team is committed to using digital technologies to reinvent the experience of becoming a Volvo customer. The car-buying experience should be as interpersonal, enjoyable, and exciting as actually having a new car. That is our mission. This is a rapidly growing team, and we are looking for outstanding people who will be some of the earliest hires in their functions.


As the Data Analyst, you will sit within our “Shop” product organization, where we focus on delivering eCommerce shopping capabilities for Volvo globally. You will enable us to scale our digital products and services, such as our innovative Care by Volvo car subscription service, to new global markets.


What Can You Bring

  • Partner closely with product, engineering, and design teams to define KPIs and instrument new product features
  • Provide on-going reporting and analysis of key product flows
  • Pro-actively support and socialize opportunities driven by data insights
  • Own data collection and product instrumentation implementation
  • Structure large data sets to find patterns and actionable insights
  • Share in developing analytic dashboards and reports
  • Assist in defining and setting up A/B testing


Other Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in product analytics
  • Highly skilled at working with complex datasets with the ability to share data analysis in a clear and actionable outcome orientated manner
  • Experience building and analyzing product dashboards
  • Experience using BI, data warehousing, and data visualization tools such as Tableau
  • Deep understanding of Google Analytics
  • Experience with tag management, analytics structure, taxonomy, and implementation. Added bonus if you have experience in working with Google Tag Manager
  • Familiarity with statistical programming languages (e.g., SQL, R, Python, etc.)
  • Strong interpersonal and presentation skills
  • Experience in navigating and applying influence in a non-hierarchical organization
  • Enthusiastic around working in matrix environments and in fast-growth organizations
