Your Key Tasks   

As a Local Application Lead (LAL) in the US Procurement organization, you will be responsible for supporting Procurement business applications within Direct Material, Indirect Material, and Supplier Quality.

  • Support local Procurement users and suppliers on application or workflow issues
  • Work closely with the global Procurement Application team to ensure continuity of system deployments and enhancements
  • Contribute to the technical architecture and design of enterprise systems
  • Define system requirements that may be specific to the Americas region
  • Challenge the current state of the process to enable system optimization
  • Ability to influence teams and individuals that are both in and outside of your organization
  • Arrange and lead application training locally
  • Support the Global Business Application Manager
  • Participate as part of the global Procurement Application team (i.e. Americas, Asia Pacific, & Europe)

 

Competencies/Experience/Skills Required

  • Advanced knowledge of application, data, and infrastructure architecture disciplines
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or Business from an accredited university
  • Understanding of architecture and design across all systems
  • Must have experience in SAP Procurement Applications (i.e. Ariba, SRM, SAP-SLC & SAP-Sourcing) 
  • Experience Required
  • Minimum of 5-8 years of enterprise software development experience in SAP
  • Additional Skills Preferred
  • Automotive industry knowledge
  • Strong networking skills
