Direct material flow process lead

 

Job Summary:        

 

As part of our finance team in Charleston you will be working with both business and finance to create a new part of the Finance community in parallel to the development of our new plant. You will work in close cooperation with other Finance colleagues both at our Americas center in NJ, our Shared Service Center in India, our Global Accounting Center in Spain, as well as functions at the headquarters in Sweden.

 

Principal Responsibilities:

  • Lead and drive the implementation of process improvements with regards to the direct material flow through the finance systems.
  • Drive the transfer of applicable work in the processes to internal and external outsourcing partners.
  • Responsible for the day-to-day and monthly period end direct material flow related activities.
  • Follow-up on inquiries and work with applicable internal and external stakeholders for swift resolution.
  • Provide guidelines, financial information and training to non-finance parts of the organization.

 

Job Specifications:

 

  • University degree in Finance or equivalent.
  • 3 years of work experience in relevant accounting areas.
  • Ability to take own initiatives to further develop the role and processes.
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team.
  • Fluent in English both verbally and in writing.
  • Excel skills
  • Computer literate and SAP user experience preferred
  • Position will require occasional travel, both domestic and overseas
