What you'll do

  • As a Cloud Fault Tracing Engineer, you will be our customer last hope! 
  • After several levels of support, the most challenging issues will reach you and the team and you will be responsible for identifying, diagnosing, and resolving faults within our automotive cloud platform. 
  • You will have direct access to our cloud system running on Aws and using the latest tech stack (K8s, Kafka, docker), to our monitoring and fault tracing tools (such as Splunk) and to some cars and test rigs to reproduce the issue from the start. Of course, you will work closely with all of the devops teams always improving our products.
  • This role requires a very proactive individual who can work in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams to address complex technical challenges.
  • Provide satisfaction to our customer by contributing to improve their experience
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for cloud support for the support teams
  • Talk to a lot of people to understand the inner working of some services
  • Set-up test equipment such as cars and rigs to reproduce your issue
  • Be well connected to know ahead what changes are getting implemented 
  • Build solid documentation on how to solve some misconfiguration you identify
  • Help design interface and tools to make support easier and faster 

What you'll bring

  • BSc degree or higher in engineering, or equivalent experience
  • Master the English language both spoken and in writing
  • Minimum 5-8 years with cloud DevOps work experience
  • AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, Envoy, Istio
  • Jira, GitLab, GitHub, Maven, GitOps, Argo CD
  • Splunk, Linux/ssh/bash, Grafana
  • Thrive in helping people and solving technology oddities
  • Good communication skills; the ability to share ideas verbally in a clear, concise manner to both technical specialists and people without technical knowledge
  • Strong collaboration skills
  • Structured and analytical way of taking on tasks and performing on a daily basis in a result-oriented way
  • Self-driven person that enjoys getting to the bottom of things and as a problem-solving mindset.
  • Not afraid by complexity and are able to create a good contacts network to help you.
