At Finance, you are part of a global team that drives business performance in order to realize the objectives set out in Volvo Car Group’s Corporate Strategy. In cooperation with colleagues in Supply Chain, you and your team provide financial expertise, business controlling and guidance. The Procurement, SCM, ME Controlling department works with business to drive the supply  chain cost in an efficient way, we contribute to competitive End to End cost and Resilient supply chain.
We are now looking for a  controller specialize in procurement performance measurement. The  Controller reports to Head of controlling, Procurement, SCM, ME, and works as finance partner for Direct Material in Procurement. Detailed below are the major responsibilities.
What you’ll do?

  •  As the finance partner of Direct Material: monitor the business performance; advice on the financial consequences of major decision; make recommendations targeted at improving and safeguarding financial results
  • Understand the business pain points, provide finance solution/advice based on fact based analysis 
  • Secure the data base for the APAC material cost steering to ensure the performance evaluation base is reflected with business status; setup finance working file according to data based analysis
  • Continue optimizing material cost steering to steer cost reduction efficiency, come with solution and action plan to reduce the manual work, implement and review the efficiency improved
  • Work with the business, structurally trace the cost activities, follow up the status and take lead for the tasks related to finance perspective 
  • Build good connection and network with cross function controller, lead small project to steer business performance in a good way

What you will bring?

  • 5+ controlling experience 
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, business administration (or similar)
  • Strong business acumen and analytical skills, required deep knowledge of supply chain 
  • Proficiency in understanding and interpreting financial information and communicating the information concisely.            
  • Adapt to changes
  • Fluent in English
  • Advanced Excel Skills
