As a Finance Business Intelligence Senior Manager, your responsibility covers:

  • Aggregate and design policy / process on business intelligence area and ensure being in line with Volvo Car Data and Analytics strategy in finance;
  • Maximize digital value, improve efficiency of digital assets and enhance insight by integrating finance BI and empower to move on to systematic and deeper data analytics, with specific focus on business drivers for long term achievements;
  • Secure sustainability of the business intelligence with sensitivity to developments and trends; being pilot on BI innovation and transformation;
  • Bridge controllers and developers on BI implementation, enable continuously reliable and prompt data access with smart tools and with fresh ideas;

 What you'll do

  • Lead the development and smart implementation of financial business intelligence and related landscape and technologies.
  • Analyse the architecture and propose best possible scenarios suiting the APAC business needs within hectic HQ environment and quickly changing landscape.
  • Collaborate with financial and non-financial stakeholders to define business requirements and translate them into technical specifications for BI solutions.
  • Communicate findings and recommendations to key financial stakeholders promptly and clearly.
  • Design, develop, and maintain data models, dashboards, and reports using BI tools such as Power BI and Qlikview.
  • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, integrity, and security via continuous data governance.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to financial BI developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in business intelligence and analytics, recommending and implementing new methodologies as appropriate and in line with Volvo HQ policies and guidelines.
  • Be in continuous dialogue with HQ for best practice sharing.

Do you fit the profile?

  • Proficiency in data architecture, data modeling, and ETL processes.
  • Good Cloud computing knowledge such as AWS, Azure, etc.; machine learning, artificial intelligence etc.
  • Knowledge of data protection and security.
  • Strong analytical skills (mixed with financial knowledge) with the ability to interpret complex data sets and derive actionable insights.
  • Hands on developer. Advanced experience with Power BI is a must and knowledge of Qlikview is a plus. 
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Leadership skills: strategic visioning, direction setting, team building, mentoring and coaching team members are vitally important.
  • Willingness to learn and advance is a must.
  • Fluent English written and spoken (role includes communication with HQ and presentations to APAC management).
  • Posses project management and budgeting abilities.
