What you'll do

  • Connected experience (Infotainment/Connectivity/Cloud) is one of the fastest growing areas within automotive today. Competition is not only limited to traditional automotive competitors. Innovative and fast moving companies like Apple and our collaboration partner Google have a strong influence on competition. Volvo Cars successfully launches connected experience solutions, and is committed to continuous success. 
  • The CI team is responsible for providing the infrastructure needed to enable a continuous flow of high quality embedded systems. This means development of our test automation framework, tools and alignment and development of the continuous integration (CI) for the solutions developed within connected experience. This includes among others, like TCAM, IHU, displays, audio and connectivity, cloud.,etc.   
  • As a CI Engineer, you are part of cross-functional team, responsible for development and operations. 
  • You collaborate closely with product owners to identify and evaluate features, break down and implements them for continuous deployment. Typically, we use Python for feature development and Jenkins for test execution scheduling. For revision handling, we use Git.  
  • Design and implement software CI/CD and Automatic test framework 
  • Develop and improve CI/CD tool chain and services
  • Build the automatic test environment, include the HW and SW
  • Make the daily build work well and CI/CD environment stable, continues improvement 
  • Develop and improve automatic test cases
  • Test environment maintenance, including SW update, HIL setup
  • Test report and analysis

 

What you'll bring

  • Minimum a B.Sc. in Computer Science or Electronics & Communication or equivalent 
  • Proficient in building, configuring and maintaining source code version control tools, GIT/Gerrit/GITLAB 
  • Proficient in building, configuring and maintaining Jenkins/Artifactory/cppcheck…
  • Proficient in developing scripts, such as python, shell and so on.
  • Familiar with Android/QNX/Linux/Java automation test tools, Appium/adb/UIAutomator/Robot Framework/Pytest…, or VTS/CTS test framework 
  • Familiar with Docker environment construction, operation and maintenance
  • Familiar with Vector configuration, CANoe
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken)
