Senior Director - Solution Support, Safe Vehicle Automation

Still, there is a lot we need to build to realize this vision of ours. We are facing an important step in our journey of building the new software-centric platform SPA2, where AD/ADAS functionality is critical for our success.  

 

About our R&D – Safe Vehicle Automation, Solution Support  

Our team in Solution Support consists of around 15 experienced leaders with a variety of tasks. Our overall mission is to optimize the use of the new platform SPA2 for Autonomous Drive and Advanced Driver Assistance Systems and delivering world-class customer experience. Our objective in Solution Support is to add focus on continuously improving business operations and customer satisfaction. We are responsible for driving initiatives across the solution, and direct coordination of our technical solutions with external partners such as Polestar, Geely, Lotus LEVC, and Zenseact. We create clarity around how our products are perceived by our customers and collect defects from customers and drive resolution.  
 

We are now looking for a Senior Director in Solution Support for Safe Vehicle Automation  

You will part of SVA leadership team and will have an important role in our ability to deliver as a Solution.  As a leader for this team, you work close to the Solution Team and the different Departments/Arts to lead your areas, but also to understand and define where additional support is required. It will be in your responsibility to lead aligned with our vision, although the different tasks may not overlap with each other. In order to have a well-working Solution, your team will work pro-actively in closing the collaborations with the other departments to work out the best support needed. 
 

Requirements  

As a leader yourself, you must be able to win the trust of other highly skilled leaders. You should be able to find a common agenda aligned with the company vision, although the different tasks may not overlap with each other. As a person you are leaning forward, collaborative, pro-active, you have a servant perspective on leadership, and are motivated by contributing to our vision.  

To be successful in this job, we see that you have several years of relevant management experience. You should have a strong interest in leadership and in developing people. We also see that you have a technical background with preferably some hands-on experience from Software Engineering, and relevant academic education. 

Previous experience from Solution Support within Software Engineering is a strong merit. It will also be meritorious to have solid experience from other agile product development organizations. You need to be fluent in English (spoken and written) and driving license (B) is required.  
 

You have a passion for high-quality solution support in an agile context. As a leader, you should be able to show courage and build confidence within the organization as well as with internal customers and stakeholders. You are a strong team leader and relationship builder. Good communication and cooperation skills are crucial to succeed in the role, and you should be comfortable to lead in a constantly changing environment with high integrity and professionalism.  
 
We also see that you are curious and continuously searching for new knowledge, trends, and technologies. We assume that you have an entrepreneurial approach and find creative ways to overcome challenges.
