Job Summary: (What’s in it for you?)

  • To cater for the future and deliver on today’s demands on a premium after market operation we need an innovative Product Owner to drive the development of our Salesforce.com Customer Care product. You will lead a team of developers and work closely with service designers for all parts of the customer journey to secure that we deliver a front-line Salesforce.com solution that enables premium customer care with the vision of hassle-free car ownership. The Uptime organization is in a build-up phase which will give you an exciting, ever-changing job in a global environment providing you with opportunities to develop both professionally and personally.         

 

Principal Responsibilities:

  • Define the vision and roadmap for the Salesforce.com Customer Care product
  • Secure a high performing product team with the right resources and competence at all times
  • Own the product budget
  • Work with all relevant stakeholders to understand needs, dependencies and prioritizations
  • Articulate and consistently emphasize the short- and long term vision of the product to the team and relevant stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with the team, Solution-, and System Architects to define both functional and non-functional requirements
  • Own, build, prioritize, decide and refine the stories in the Team Backlog including defects and enablers
  • Participate in the development of story acceptance criteria and draft them when feasible
  • Review and reprioritize the backlog as part of the preparatory work for Iteration including coordination of content dependencies with other Product Owners
  • Involve the team in backlog refinement to achieve minimum handover and maximum joint understanding
  • Understand the scope of the upcoming enabler work and collaborate with the team and architects to assist with decision-making and sequencing of the key technological infrastructures
  • Validate stories making sure they meet the acceptance criteria, definition of done (DoD), and has the appropriate tests.
  • Participate in Daily Stand Ups, Sprint Team Demo, and Retrospective (as requested by the team)

 

Key Competencies:

  • Documented experience and proven achievements within digital product management and business development.
  • Professional in the use of agile methods like lean, safe or similar.
  • Up-to-date on the latest techniques, trends and thinking within Salesforce.com preferably Service Cloud
  • Strong presentation and communication skills with great structure and process driven thinking
  • Experience from the customer care area
  • Strong leadership and people skills
  • University degree in relevant field

Since Uptime as an organization within Volvo Cars is in an early phase, it is important that you are flexible and enjoy working in a changing environment.
