Join the Americas Consumer and Enterprise Digital department as Product Manager: MarTech and Customer Data - Americas. Volvo Cars is embarking on a journey to launching new ways to drive a Volvo, and solutions must be improved to deliver a strong dealer and customer experience. Overall, we are designing an architecture that is prepared to meet our future business needs and enables development of interfaces to develop new services and exchange of information.

 

The successful candidate will have proven experience planning and executing transformational change in organizations with Marketing Technology solutions. The position will support driving the company into emerging digital technologies while driven media efficiency, effectiveness, and savings. The role requires a strong ability to build a cross-functional working team of digital and marketing colleagues and inspire a “test and learn” culture. The successful candidate will also have a strong understanding of the latest MarTech and big data trends, incorporating relevant emerging technologies.

 

Key Responsibilities

· Contribute as a thought leader in the digital marketing, digital content and communications solutions space for the enterprise.

· Translate MarTech vision into a multi-year roadmap that delivers new digital solutions incrementally. With a roadmap defined, align people and process change management efforts to solution delivery.

· Drive digital consumer marketing solutions working in partnership with our Consumer Digital Architect & global architecture teams to recommend industry standards and best practices, across cloud, on-premise or hybrid architectures.

· Add structure to MarTech initiatives through defining meeting cadences, program communications, steering groups, and business case materials.

· Partner with Marketing, Creative and Communication teams to adopt best practices and align technologies with business use cases.

· Work closely with other groups to coordinate strategies, priorities and inter-dependent initiatives. This includes coordination with the other Digital Product teams, Information Security/Audit areas, and business units in the Americas region.

· Understand the potential use of new technologies in his/her area as driven by Volvo initiatives, vendor capabilities or industry best practices and trends, and informing peers as necessary.

· Work with the various consumers of MarTech, and Communications on effective end-user solutions driven by business needs and requirements.

· Serve as an owner for the respective technology stacks and ensure appropriate technology is implemented in alignment with business needs.

· Work closely with the Digital Marketing, Analytics and Market Intelligence team to define specific use cases for marketing technology.

· Drive marketing technology strategy including roadmap definition and execution in collaboration with marketing teams.

· Manage and track the financial impact of MarTech initiatives.

 

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

· Demonstrated ability to drive results with cross-functional partners across various functions (developers, business stakeholders, product and marketing teams, etc.)

· Proven competency in change management strategies to roll out and sustain usage of digital solutions.

· Strong communication and relationship skills with the ability to facilitate and convince key stakeholders

· Project management certifications or heavy experience (PMP or PMP-Agile). Practical experience using agile techniques to decompose a vision into an incremental delivery approach.

· Independent, self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset and can-do attitude with the ability to have a grand vision, but still comfortable with working at a detailed level

· Prior experience owning products based on the Salesforce.com Marketing Cloud platform

 

Qualifications

· University degree in the field of Business and/or Technology or relevant experience

· Minimum of 5+ years experience with proven track record in Digital Marketing Technologies (Ideally with a Manufacturing or Automotive Company)

· Must have experience working as a Product Owner or product management-related role, preferably in an Agile working setup. Fluent English with foreign language skills a plus
