Intern: Network Development

This is a great opportunity to join a career boosting 10-week program designed around your potential. You will have the opportunity to support different tasks and projects which include weekly learning sessions on various areas in the organization, individual career development supported by your manager and other department team members, out-of-the-office activities as well as fun-competitive events supported by the People Experience team.


The Network Development Intern will assist with operational tasks within our business unit, improvement of processes with regions/vendors/other departments, and transformation of our retailer network.  As part of this visible role, the intern will attend and participate in network business meetings as well as meetings with vendors, regions, and other departments.  He/she will play an integral role with the Network Development team, key vendors, and regional staff in coordinating projects, analyzing financials, working with systems, and influencing communications.  The role is for a person who is comfortable working with experts in a field, interpreting input, summarizing key findings, and balancing data and instinct.


Additional responsibilities may include:

  • Coordinate activities with business management system including enhancing the look and feel to the system, developing dealer financial reports, identifying KPIs/metrics, and promoting system use
  • How do we visualize retailer performance better, how can we better celebrate top performers and share rankings & reports
  • How can we further promote a culture of sustainability and going green associated with VRE facilities and customer experience, what creative actions can be taken with the retail network
  • Assist efforts to achieve excellent facility appearance, assist with Google Trusted Photography coordination
  • Support Regions with electrification standards, coordinate with Regions and Customer Service to create a tracking report for workshop requirements
  • Evaluate the retailer assessment process & customer experience findings and recommend improvements
  • Verify retailer information in the Retailer Master system, assist with updates, help coordinate replacement of the current system

In order to be considered for this program, you need to be currently enrolled in a related Undergraduate degree program as a rising, Junior, Senior or anticipate graduating within the calendar year. Program is set to begin early June 2020.
