Job Summary:          

This function is responsible for managing the communication, implementation and program fulfillment of all variable marketing program offers in the US and Canada in order to support the volume and profitability goals of the company.  These incentive offers include managing the cash, lease offers, APR, loyalty, and other variable marketing programs.

 

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Develop competitive incentive programs to be communicated via Retail Sales bulletins on a timely basis, including obtaining legal and executive approval for release.  These offers include claim based programs, A-Plan/Affinity offers, lease payments, APR, cash and all other incentives attributed to the sale of a vehicle through VCUS’s retailers.  (Monthly/Quarterly/Annually).
  • Manage the monthly process between corporate finance, regional sales teams, and marketing to ensure both timely and effective implementation of regional tactical enhancements to national offers.
  • Act as VCUS’s primary contact with Volvo Car Financial publishing loan and lease programs, including monitoring and analyzing credit application volumes and approval ratios.
  • Supervise a team of Incentive analysts responsible for all incentive communications, payments in SAP system and processing of retailer incentive payment inquiries.
  • Maintain and update retailer incentive rules and policies including processing of Offer Protection and exception requests.
  • Support long-term volume planning/profitability with assisting VCUS Product Team with aligned volume, offer and residual value analysis for future product strategy/approval.

 

Key Competencies/Abilities:

  • Highly analytical with strong business acumen with above-average Excel and PowerPoint skills.
  • Detail-oriented with attention to quality and continuous improvement.
  • Leads by example, fostering teamwork, and mutual support.
  • Ability to utilize PC to communicate in a clear and concise manner, analyze data, track trends, and retrieve relevant information.
  • Excellent knowledge of marketing policies, New and Used Car Sales, Lease and Finance, and Retailer concepts and practices, which is usually acquired through a combination of college education and 5 or more years of experience in related positions.
