Retail Website Analytics Specialist

What are we looking for?

 

As the Retailer Website Analytics Specialist, you are responsible for the technical set up and analytics of the Retailer website and advertising program.  You will drive recommendations for improvements by analyzing retailer website and advertising performance by setting up tracking, measurement and analytics using Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics, Datorama and Power BI.  You will lead with a growth mindset to both website customer journey improvements and advertising effectiveness through your measurement and learn approach.   You will partner with the Retailer Website Operations Manager who will lead on the partnership with retailers and the website vendors. We are entrepreneurial, focused on driving positive impact for Volvo Car Canada, constantly looking for opportunities to evolve and improve and collaborating frequently with our US and Global marketing teams and agency partners.

 

Your responsibilities

  • Build, refine and update the monthly retailer website assessment report for all 37 retailers and partner with RH Carter to ensure it is accurate in the RH Carter tool for the REP assessment and shared with the sales and marketing team.
  • Lead on the technical set up of the retailer website KPIs, reporting and analytics with the website vendors including site tagging (set up and management of Google Tag Manager, Power BI and Google Data Studio as required)
  • Lead on website and advertising tagging and tracking set up reporting with website vendors
  • Partner with Volvo Americas IT department on API and tool integration, integrating website vendors directly to our Volvo leads API and Retailer CRM
  • Partner with SM360 and Dealer Inspire in the monthly finance, invoice management and resolve any escalations of Retailers
  • Partner with the Retailer Website Operations Manager and Volvo Cars Canada Marketing Team to drive alignment of KPIs and measurement between Volvocars.ca inclusive of the digital retail experience with the retailer websites
  • Drive retailer website and industry digital and tool innovation to enhance the digital customer journey for Canadians (i.e. Click to Chat, Retail Tools, Inventory Merchandising, Lead Management) 
  • Partner with retailers on digital infrastructure pilot projects to integrate innovative website and digital retail solutions
  • Partner with Retailers and website vendors on trouble shooting retailer website and advertising technical challenges

 

 

Requirements

  • 3-5 years website analytics and content update implementation experience spanning English and French Canadian websites is required
  • Technical experience in setting up Datorama and Google Tag Manager, Google Data Studio, Power BI, Adobe is required
  • Technical experience with HTML, CSS, Javascript and Adobe Photoshop is ideal as you will often help Retailers and the website vendors to problem solve
  • Written and Spoken French Fluency is preferred
  • Collaborative and inclusive team player. 
  • Self-motivated and driven.
  • Experience within the automotive industry is not required
