The retail quality role is part of the regional APAC market quality team with the purpose of driving premium quality and Top#1 customer satisfaction by supporting the commercial operations in Greater China.

 

What you will do?

  • Together with the regional market quality team located in Jiading, drive premium quality and customer satisfaction in accordance with Volvo Cars ambitions and targets in Greater China.
  • Drive data driven transparency and data analytics in regards to quality within the vehicle transport flow, vehicle stock maintenance, warranty claims, retail standards, workshop processes, customer satisfaction etc.
  • Work close together with the Greater China commercial teams and lead regular performance dialogs based on data to improve performance.
  • Manage warranty market comparison to reduce warranty cost and spend, incl. governance and safeguarding of the retail warranty audit process.
  • Govern and drive the stock maintenance process at yards and retailers together with the logistics team.
  • Support the retail standard process. This includes to continue developing and lead the globalisation of the retail standard process and secure the unique premium retail standards for Greater China. 
  • Performing the above main tasks within defined area. 
  • Monitor market quality targets and take appropriate actions based on results. 
  • Empower and develop people, by leading problem solving activities based on data in cross functional teams. 
  • Report and escalate product quality, product compliance, warranty concerns and other technical issues including systems issues to related departments to drive quick resolution.
  • Report organizationally and operationality to the Head of Quality APAC.

  • Knowledge and experience working with quality systems. 
  • Proven data analytics skills, with experience working in visualisation tools (Power BI or equivalent).
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken).
  • Business acumen. 
  • Structured and disciplined. 
  • Eye for details.
  • Good interpersonal skills.
  • Positive attitude, high integrity and professionalism.
