Manager Flow Team

What’s in it for you?

You will be manager of a Flow Team which is part of the Supply Chain Engineering department at VCBC. As a Flow leader you will also be a part of the Logistic engineering management team. The main purpose of the Flow Team is to continuously find, plan, prioritise and implement the best possible material flow within the given area. You will provide early input to upcoming projects and participate in investigations and analyse car project-, CIR- and volume mix variation content and industrialise needed flow changes.

 

What you’ll do

You’ll be operationally responsible for a Flow team reporting to Sr Manager Supply Chain Engineer VCBC. Grow and shape a team with highly talented co-workers.
Mentor and coach individual co-workers and team as well as removing obstacles in their way to deliver Flow

 

General tasks within the team of the given area are to define action plan for the area and set priorities together with operations, secure and follow up the budget and drive needed investments as well as make plans for manning and equipment and other defined KPI´s.

You will also follow up, analyse and make necessary actions on defined KPI’s, define the best flow solution based upon Line Back Principles and drive and support continuous improvements for flows and processes.

You will implement and share best practice, secure logistic layout and logistic layout vision, provide early input to upcoming projects. Participate in investigations and analyse Car project-, CIR- and Volume mix variation content and industrialise needed flow changes.

 

Other tasks are to define and prioritise need of IT changes. Drive and make business requirements, secure implementation of new IT functionality and work procedures and secure documentation of flows and processes and perform the workforce balancing calculation.

 

Who are you?

The right candidate has great management skills to lead a cross functional network within a complex and constantly changing environment and a university degree in engineering, preferably Supply Chain Management. You have highly developed communication and documentation skills to manage all escalation levels in the organization. You are business acumen with result-oriented mindset, and a personal motivation to drive, lead and inspire teams and change.

We are looking for strong ownership of all tasks and being resilient to move forward, an individual who creates trust and drives results with the ability to empower the teams.

  • High project management skills and launch experience
  • Excellent presentation skills with the ability to create clarity
  • Broad and high competence within Supply Chain
  • Proactive, analytical and flexible mindset with courage and high integrity
