What you’ll do

As our Digital & Social Marketing Graduate you will develop the VCUK digital owned platforms content structure and user journeys adapting them to local UK requirements.  The focus of the role is to support the digital experience manager with the relevant tools as shop windows for the Volvo brand.   These platforms and tools include, but are not limited to: National website, National Search, Car configurator, Google Analytics, Apps, Tablets, Retailer websites, Finance Calculator, Customer Review Tool (Reevoo), Digital Signage Content etc.

 

The role will gather requirements for various stakeholders across the whole business and identify the optimum way to present their content on all digital platforms. You will also support the retailer network with digital activity, via the rollout and on-going release management of the Volvo Retailer sections of the national website, on-going review of these areas to ensure Retailers are updating content, news and events etc.. whilst adhering to corporate identity guidelines supporting IT Help Desk with Sitecore CMS and login questions. You will be also contribute to:

  • website analysis against the global and local main digital KPIs
  • management and workflow allocation for website editing for external agency support function
  • adapting and collating all locally and globally created content to ensure a consistent look and feel across the relevant site sections
  • complete end-to-end customer journey solutions and overall User eXperience both within the site and continuation across microsites and the rest of the Volvo digital ecosystem.

 

Do you fit the profile?

The Digital & Social Marketing Graduate will need to co-ordinate multiple briefs from stakeholders across the business. You will also need to learn and deliver the principals of Search Engine Optimisation. Optimising the UK site for continuous No1 positioning on natural search for both national and Retailer sites. This role is accountable to internal (VCUK) and external (customer and retailers) feedback on all owned websites, who will then review and prioritise these challenges within the annual development plan.

 

The ideal new member of the team will have most of the following skills/experiences:

 

  • Website CMS Experience (Sitecore preferred or equivalent:Wordpress, Joomla, Drupel, etc..)
  • Google Analytics
  • Microsoft Excel
  • High understanding level of basic HTML(5) coding skill
  • Average CSS, Javascript knowledge
  • Understanding of (business) social media platforms
  • Design and function focussed/balanced
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritise workload.
  • Demonstrate ability to effectively handle and deliver large business projects.
  • Exposure to eCommerce desirable
  • Adobe Suite: InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop

 

Contract Details

This is a graduate role, 2 year fixed term contract in Maidenhead. Candidates should be available for work at the end of June.  With a competitive salary of £25,000 p.a. offer for new graduate you also will have the option to participate in the car scheme and have 1 car, Non-contributory defined contribution pension plan, Vitality healthcare.
